There are 'good ' welcomes...There are 'great ' welcomes...and then there is a Danyella welcome! From the 1st moment she was delightful, helpful, absolutely charming and lovely! Lovely fire in the REAL grate! Good beers and altogether a smashing way to drink a few beers! Thank you! View all feedback.

I was at the union , now the cricketers, lovely pub but I was disappointed too be served lager topped up from previously pulled and sat under the pumps , makes your drink flat and taste terrible , chef with long hair and no hat serving drinks too , and considering there was a wake on denim shorts and vest top was a bit disrespectful in my opinion , disappointed as I have always liked the pub and thought after the tak... This pub is absolutely beautiful and has a cozy atmosphere. Dogs are welcome, which is a plus. I really enjoy sitting on the terrace outside for a meal or drinks, especially with the outside bar area that overlooks Knaresborough Cricket Field. My family and I have dined here numerous times and we always have a fantastic experience. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is excellent. It's a lovely spot all around.
I must admit that I have a fondness for the people at this restaurant, which I believe is a testament to their hospitality rather than my spending habits. I particularly enjoy their Friday night quiz, which is my favorite to attend. I felt compelled to write this review after enjoying a delicious pizza here. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful location, perfect for a leisurely stroll with the kids and dogs along the scenic river Nidd. Whether you are just stopping by for a drink, meal, quiz, or a peaceful walk, I highly recommend adding this place to your list of destinations. Thank you.
This is a great spot for grabbing a beer. It's affordable and has a happy atmosphere. Unfortunately, we didn't try the food so I can't speak on that. They also offer outdoor seating for enjoying the sunshine.

Topping pints up from beer under the bar is disgusting and highly inappropriate clothing for a wake kitchen staff no hat covering long hair
