This restaurant is cozy and relaxed, it feels like having a dinner party at home! The back room is completely dog-friendly, and we brought 3 dogs for our party of 4 with no issues at all. The staff was excellent, especially the owner who came to chat with us after our meal. The food was fantastic, we loved the special dish recommended by the owner (see photo). First day of our holiday it made sense to book a meal out. Wow we were not disappointed, great service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Food choice was excellent, in fact we struggled to choose it was so good. Food was delivered fast and efficiently and tasted how it looked, superb! Puddings were equally quick and great. Overall exemplary in all aspects and we will visit again before we go home.
Dog-friendly is an understatement! They have a cozy back room that feels like you're in the house of a friend. we brought 3 dogs between 4 of us, and it was fabulous! great food and service. we're coming back.

Had a lovely meal at The Masons. Food was superb, the leg of lamb extremely tender and a great standard all round. Staff were friendly and attentive and a great atmosphere also helped by an open fire. Lovely pint too. We were sat in the snug that is also dog friendly!
Stopped off here on our long journey from England to Scotland after luckily deciding to stop around that area. Just off the motorway but also kind of in the middle of nowhere but very easy to find. Lovely looking building, very nicely decorated. The food was absolutely delicious, our 3 courses went down a treat. Great menu and very reasonable prices. The waitress who served us was very friendly and polite. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for a fantastic meal.
