A beautiful setting with a lovely outdoor area too. Obviously very popular with cyclists. We visited as a family outing and treat and felt very welcome from Sophie. Specials had a great choice of and the menu is very kid friendly we had two children with us (11 and 7) and they were very happy with their choice of meals. We took cake away to have at our next destination and they were delicious too cannot beat home mad... View all feedback.

RIP off Prices. £9 a jacket potato. £4.50 A slice of cake. I hope the staff are getting paid well with charging these prices. I walked straight out and went into Ripon on my way home. You can get lasagna for £10.50 near the Cathedral. View all feedback.
The breakfast at this cafe is always amazing, making it one of the top spots in Nidderdale. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. I am once again a very happy customer.
The restaurant has a charming and bustling ambiance. They offer a fantastic variety of homemade dishes and delectable cakes. It was nice to see the place filled with satisfied customers. I will definitely return to try their lunch menu.
My partner and I, a young mid-aged couple, enjoy trying new restaurants in the Harrogate area, but Sophie's has become a regular spot for us over the years. We first discovered the café just before Covid hit, and we continued to support it through takeaways during the lockdown. We were thrilled to see it come out stronger on the other side. The cycling community has also taken to this place as a refueling stop, but for us, it's a cozy spot to relax, chat, and enjoy a meal either indoors or out, with the option of a marquee for cover. The menu offers a variety of delicious and fresh dishes, with the Full English breakfast being a standout favorite of mine. I've had my fair share of Full English breakfasts over the years, which might explain my weight, but Sophie's version is top-notch. For an extra indulgence, try the chef's Olympic breakfast - I did, and it kept me full until Sunday morning! My partner particularly enjoys Sophie's fresh scones. No matter the season, there's something special about visiting Sophie's - whether it's the beautiful garden and views in the summer or the cozy atmosphere in the colder months. Just beware, it can get quite busy when the cycling groups stop by. Kudos to Sophie and her team for running such a wonderful establishment. Places like this are rare finds, so let's make sure we support them or risk losing them, just like we would with a good pub.
Although we have lived nearby for 3 years, we have just discovered Sophies Lovely light lunch, dog friendly and fantastic service. Highly recommended and we will be back over New Year
We visit regularly sometimes walking and other times on bikes -the scones and homemade cakes are to die for! The staff are always really welcoming whether we are in cycling or walking gear or more smartly dressed and Sophie is happy for cyclists and walkers to sit inside or outside. There is a lovely garden outside and plenty of space to park bikes. I would strongly recommend Sophies for walkers and cyclists .
