We enjoyed our private dining room, which was a delightful surprise. Every dish we tried was delicious, especially the perfectly cooked steaks. The staff members were exceptional, being accommodating, friendly, cheerful, and efficient. They truly made our evening memorable and special. Thank you to all the staff at the Pickled Sprout.

It took 20 minutes before anyone bothered to ask us if we wanted a drink, and even after that, we had to ask... read more The service at this restaurant was incredibly slow. It took 20 minutes before anyone bothered to ask us if we wanted a drink, and even after that, we had to ask twice to place a food order. The quality of the food was mediocre at best. The nut roast was awful, lacking any flavor. The sticky toffee pudding, which we had to wait 30 minutes for and had to request the dessert menu multiple times, was so hard that it couldn't be cut with a fork and tasted as if it had been overcooked in the microwave. We are unlikely to return to this restaurant.

Prawn cocktail to start with full to the brim of prawns. Trio of meats for main with an array of veg, all piping hot with plenty of gravy. Attentive well trained staff with great personalities. 2 x course for £24.95 excellent value. One of the best meals I have had for many years, can't wait to return.
