Reviews summary
Quantro, a beloved fixture in Harrogate's culinary scene, offers a diverse and imaginative menu that changes frequently. While many patrons laud the quality of food and warm, attentive service, there are notable inconsistencies. Some diners report small portion sizes, particularly with tasting menus, casting doubt on value for money. Service experiences vary, with some encountering indifferent staff while others receive exceptional hospitality. Despite these disparities, the restaurant remains a popular choice, especially for its early bird specials. Overall, while opinions differ, many agree that Quantro consistently delivers delicious meals worth returning for.

we have eaten in quantro often, it is our favorite restaurant harrogate. we always get a warm welcome from manager and staff. the food and drink menu has a large selection, our meal was excellent as usual. many thanks quantro for another beautiful evening. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Quantro:
We ordered the tasting platter at £38 for 2 people. The quantities were very small and bulked up with salad leaves. We could have both eaten 1 to ourselves and at £38 it was not value for money. The food was tasty but there was not enough to fill us unfortunately. Dont know if I would go back to be honest. View all feedback.

I found the restaurant experience to be somewhat disappointing. The waitress was not very friendly and the service seemed a bit indifferent. The batter on the fish was thick and soft, and the hake had several large bones in it. The overall meal did not meet the standards we had expected based on previous reviews. The waitress appeared offended when I mentioned that the batter on the fish was not crispy.
Our fourth visit to Quantro in Harrogate was fabulous once again. The crab risotto with garlic king prawn tails and calf liver with fennel squid salad were both delightful. The main courses of king scallops and seared salmon were flavorful and complemented perfectly by a bottle of house white wine. The service was prompt and welcoming, enhancing our overall dining experience. The only drawback was the addition of an optional service charge to the bill, as I prefer to tip as I see fit. However, this is a minor inconvenience and we would definitely visit Quantro again without hesitation.
We have visited this restaurant twice in one week, and this review is for the lunch we enjoyed. We have dined here many times and always found the lunch special to be incredibly good value, with top quality food. During this visit, there were four of us in our party. We all ordered the fish cakes, which were excellent. For our main course, we all chose the Thai turkey dish. Two of us were extremely happy with the flavors and taste, but unfortunately, the other two in our party found the quality of the turkey to be mixed and ended up leaving some on their plates. We regret not mentioning this to the staff. Our friends both had the sticky toffee pudding, which was a generous portion and enjoyed by both. Overall, we continue to believe that Quantro offers excellent quality and value, and we would definitely recommend it to others.
We were celebrating our son's birthday at this restaurant. My wife and son tried the Q menu and raved about the rib eye steak. I opted for two starters from the main menu - prawns and crab risotto followed by marinated pigeon on a rosti. It was all absolutely superb. It had been a long time since I had pigeon and this was cooked perfectly. The restaurant was busy but the service was spot on.

A quiet evening but staff were very friendly and welcoming catering considerately to my companions multiple dietary restrictions without fuss. Very tasty food beautifully presented. Have visited many times over the years and have never been disappointed
Food was delicious and imaginative as always even when choosing from the lunch saver menu. Service friendly, I would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful starter and a mains tasting menu. Only problem was the inclusion of chips and onion rings in the tasting menu. Seemed odd to include something like that in a tasting menu. Might also be good to include a wine with the tasting dish.
