Contribute FeedbackPlenty offers a mixed bag of reviews, ranging from disappointed customers to devoted fans of the cozy cafe. While some had negative experiences with slow service and undercooked bacon, others raved about the delicious vegetarian breakfast and friendly staff. The cafe also received high points for its comfortable atmosphere and quality coffees. Despite some shortcomings, Plenty seems to have a solid fan base and is a popular spot, especially for those looking for a charming cafe with genuine Yorkshire friendliness. Overall, customers appreciated the homemade treats and generous cups of coffee at Plenty.
Stopped here for a cup tee and a vegan folding jacket. they were busy and seemed somewhat overwhelmed, but the minzetee was beautiful, and the folding jacket was pretty good and tasty.
Visited a couple of times whilst on holiday. Lovely cafe, friendly staff, very popular! Dog friendly also and they get a treat! Had a full vegetarian breakfast it was amazing! Grilled halloumi, avocado the lot! Delicious and the coffees not bad either! Thank you
Third time unlucky! This seems to be a very popular place I have been twice previously. The first time we waited 20 mins to get served with takeaway drinks. The second time I waited 20+mins for a takeaway drink walking away without one as I got fed up of waiting. Today I walked into the cafe just to see if there was any free tables to eat in with family. There was a few people stood at the counter and I may have wrongly assumed that they were just waiting for the takeout service, but I do not feel this warranted the very rude and aggressive response of a member of staff who seemed horrified that I had the audacity to just walk in. Shouting at me and told me in no uncertain terms the cafe was full. Obviously off ill on the customer service training day!! As a regular visitor to Boroughbridge i will walk by this place as there are PLENTY of other places that offer an all round better experience
I walked in at 12.15 and was first in the queue. It took them around 10 mins to acknowledge me or say anything to me. I was finally asked if I was being served, to which I replied I wasn’t, and then I was told someone would be with me in a minute. A few mins later someone else walked in and joined the queue behind me and he was asked almost immediately what he wanted. He then told the staff that I was infront of him. They then took my order (2 x coffees) and when the order was given to me, it was one coffee short. I had to say if ordered two coffees and they then made the second for me. The coffee itself wasn’t bad (it wasn’t overly hot either) but the customer service was terrible. The staff weren’t rude, but also weren’t apologetic about the lengthy wait. Overall a shabby experience..almost 15 minutes to get two coffees when I was first in the queue.
Well, what a fabulous place this is! Revered by locals( always a good sign) with excellent food and drinks. The jewel in the crown here though is undoubtedly the staff. Always friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. What people don’t realise though, if they’re not locals, is that although they close at 3 they are open 7 days a week which no-one else locally does. It is a happy, friendly place loved by people and dogs in equal measure. Keep up the good work lad and lasses!
