I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations for their duck spring rolls and chips, a combination I was excited to try based on the prices listed on the menu. However, my experience was disappointing due to a significant miscommunication. When I placed my order, I was quoted a price of £6.50, which I assumed was for both the duck spring rolls and chips, considering their individual prices on the menu. To my surprise, I only received the spring rolls. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, there was confusion about the payment, leading to a request for a refund of the money I had already given. While I appreciate the staff's efforts to resolve the issue, the overall experience was frustrating. The wait was longer than expected, and the communication from the staff could have been clearer. I was puzzled by the decision to take back the duck rolls when I offered to keep them and just have the chips made instead. As a customer, clear and accurate communication is essential, especially when it comes to understanding what my order includes and how much it will cost.
