we had a nice meal here with friends an evening in the august we sat outside, which was a beautiful opposite and we had the early evening sunshine on us. the whole thing was great. I had heavy fish, a part of the day fresh catch, served with seafood curry, coriander rice, monks pakora and raita. it was all well cooked and delicious. I wish we had come closer than we would eat here often. View all feedback.
Why oh why feel cook the need to clean dishes in cream, especially something like smoked sellfish and lick risotto, which is of nature creamy enough and you command it to try and be healthy? had the two course set punch that is good value with a good choice. the smoked salmon was excellent and the shell of my wife was just as good with some beautiful crispy frying. all at all places is very good and the fish and chips are served looked excellent. I find it creepy that someone from essex could be critical of yorkshire fish and chips. they have practiced the critique of the risotto and have not blamed me for it.
Warm restaurant when it was cold outside. friendly service and a good choice of eating. I chose the festive Christmas menu that included a free prosecco. rauch lachsstarter, Poach-Cid. finished with sticky fabric pudding.

Best fish and chips around. Great service and the fish and chips are amazing. Make sure you book at busy times or you might be disappointed
