We had a group meal for a birthday celebration, and it was wonderful! The food and drinks were delightful. Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5.
Now, let's talk about the food—absolutely amazing! I couldn’t find a single fault. The owner, I believe, recommended sharing a side dish with my colleague instead of ordering one each, and he was right on the mark. The Pork Tomahawk was simply perfect, and I can’t wait to enjoy it again on my next visit! The Diane sauce paired with it was exceptional. As for the staff, the owner (I think) was a true gentleman—funny, welcoming, and happy to chat with us. Joseph, who looked after us at breakfast, was another standout employee—attentive, humorous, and had a great phone manner! The rest of the staff, including the bar staff, chefs, and cleaners, were all fantastic. Everyone was approachable and more than willing to help. My only minor complaint was the parking situation; there wasn’t much available due to the hotel’s location on a roundabout. However, don't let that discourage you from this amazing hotel/bar/restaurant. I’ll definitely be back—hopefully next week! The food and drinks here are phenomenal!

Smashing service and food. Nearby activities: Excellent classic town. So close to A1M, yet so far removed from the rat race. One of my favourite places. Friendly, characterful and not too big. Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Romantic
