Really stylish country pub, with an excellent selection of meals from high-end to tasty takes on pub classics. prices are not cheap, but quality is a reflection. service was great, we had a totally dedicated waitress that was ultra friendly and attentive. more beautiful visit. would recommend.

Beautiful pub with amazing delicious food in an environment. something close to a busy road, but we have not really noticed in our lodge room, which was very clean and comfortable. we found all staff very friendly and helpful. beautiful stay, would definitely stay back.

Had a wonderful Mother's Day dinner here with my family. It was a large party but there was plenty of space for all of us and the staff did a great job. Everyone got what they ordered, the food was all served at the same time and special requests were no problem. The food was also excellent. Hopefully we will all come up with an excuse to come again soon. I can't wait.

Great hotel, great staff great food. Ideal location for visiting Harrogate, Ripon the surrounding areas. Lovely clean rooms and a cosy restaurant/bar. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The food is superb, made with quality fresh ingredients and extremely well prepared. We will definitely return when we are in the area and have already recommended to our family friends.

We went for a family reunion meal and were treated like royalty. The staff were all polite, the table was set up beautifully and the food and drinks were brought out promptly. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. The communication by the staff prior to our visit was also excellent. For larger groups I would definitely suggest you preorder the main items as it really helps the kitchen staff prepare and ensure that the food is brought out quickly : The venue and gardens are well maintained and lovely. We lucked out with the weather too : We will definitely be back :
