Scotty's Homemade Italian Ice

This is the best Italian food I have ever tasted! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about everything. My favorite dishes are the earthy Pfirsich and blueberry lemonade!

The Italian ice at this restaurant is delicious and the service on my birthday was exceptional. It made for a truly wonderful experience.

I absolutely adore the Italian ice at this place! I have to give a shoutout to Scott and his wonderful family who moved from New Jersey to Harrisonburg a few years ago and started their family business. They started out with a small stand and now have a nice-sized truck offering 8 flavors plus a flavor of the week. The Italian ice is smooth and incredibly tasty. They offer it in small, medium, large, or pint quarts. Once you try it, you'll be hooked - it's so good that you'll crave Scotty's Italian ice instead of regular ice cream. It's also a healthier option. I have a food allergy and felt great after enjoying Scotty's Italian ice. I wanted to go back for another one, but unfortunately had to move on. I'll definitely be back for more!

My husband and I stumbled on Scotty’s Italian Ice at the Spring Celebration in downtown Dayton. I’ve spent our three-year marriage talking about and searching for the lemon Italian ices I used to have at the beach as a kid. Although they didn’t have lemon at the time, my husband and I were shocked at how smooth, flavor-rich and refreshing the treats are. We’ve made it a point to go each week since to buy a pint or more for the hot summer days. Our favorites are lemon, blueberry mojito and tropical flavors. This business is such a welcome addition to Harrisonburg and worthy of being your new summer tradition.
