Mashita Korean Inspired - Harrisonburg

Amazing food! I see why they made a whole restaurant after having a food truck. And for reasonable prices as well. We tried the squash special, steam buns, and fried dumplings. Only complaint is that we wish the servings were bigger so we could eat more! The carrot sake cocktail was delicious as well! Sweetened soy sauce paired excellent with the dumplings. Definitely the brisket also!

What a great place!! We found them online when we're planning a visit to VA. Food was so amazing, service was great, fantastic vegan choices. We met the chef/ owner too, super cool guy with a passion for what he does! Started as a food truck, grew into a restaurant and is now expanding. Best of luck to the Mashita and staff. We will definitely be back!

Mashita was absolutely amazing! We got the following in the pictures to share and were full after finishing it. The buns were so soft, and everything was a total flavor explosion! The sweet and spicy sauce is that good. A total hack is buying takeout and walking down to Sage Bird for a drink. We?ll be back soon! Update: We went back for dine-in and had an incredible experience of trying new food. The special salad was amazing, and the staff was very friendly and

I didn't know pork could taste so good... Amazing food here! Pork belly and brisket are to die for! Good atmosphere and clean surroundings. Staff were very nice and helpful as well. Please don't pass up an opportunity to eat here. We got the kimchi fries, beef kimbap, and buns sampler- braised pork, brisket, and pork belly. 10/10 wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often.

Visited several times and has been delicious every time. Great place for a date night, has indoor and outdoor dining as well as take out. Steamed buns are yummy, basically fluffy tacos, and the fried bao rounds for dessert were amazing! 5 stars and we'll be back again soon.
