The only thing I can say that is positive was that the people were nice, that?s why they got 2 stars instead of one. My husband?s order was wrong (it?s a VERY good thing I made him check it before we left! I honestly don?t even know what to sayabout my order?. I got the spicy mac cheese bowl. I LITERALLY had to drain off all the grease from the hot nuggets. Then,every single spoonful had more grease on it. I doubt I would have been able to recognize the mac cheese if I didn?t know whatit was supposed to be. EXTREMELY disappointing! If you get it, go with the reg nuggets, at least then you have a shot at anedible meal.
It?s sad to see this KFC go down the drain I remember when going back in the good ol day when they had a buffet line, the food is good but I blame management for how poor service they have now I don?t even bother going because they never have nothing andit looks so run down as a truck driver I see other KFC restaurant in much better condition than this in other states, Best justgo down the road to Bojangles here locally
I was in a rush and decided to grab two 3-piece Big Box meals with two sides to take home for my wife and me. When I got home, I realized I only received one Big Box meal along with the two drinks, but just one meal. I know I should have checked the bag before leaving. I ended up paying over $23 for just 3 pieces of chicken and 2 sides. Since I don't live in Harrisonburg, it wasn't worth the drive back, and they didn't provide a receipt either. Now, I'm still hungry.
I visited KFC and went through the drive-thru, letting the young lady with an abrupt voice know that I was there to try the food and write a review. I wasn't looking for anything for free; I was using coupons. As I asked a few questions, she cut me off, saying that she couldn't answer any of them and that if I wanted to talk, I needed to come inside the store. I was taken aback, especially since there was no one behind me in line. It was disappointing to see that the manager couldn't take a moment to engage with a customer. The exterior of the restaurant looked unkempt, and I'm relieved I didn't spend $20 on a meal there. My friend mentioned that for a manager, her communication skills were dreadful. I’m glad I don’t have to work under her!
Having worked in fast food, I understand that cleaning can sometimes take a back seat when things get busy, but this location takes it to an entirely different level of neglect. The nearly empty restaurant only highlights the problem. While I don't blame the staff for the peeling wallpaper and mold on the walls and ceiling, they can certainly do better with surface cleanliness. The bathrooms are in poor condition, the windows are grimy, and the door to the kitchen is covered in a thick layer of grime. Unfortunately, the food is not good enough to warrant a return visit. Honestly, unless the entire place is demolished and replaced with new materials and appliances, a simple cleaning might not even address the issues, and I worry about the safety of dining here. I wouldn't be surprised if there were pests lurking about. It's truly that unclean. If I were the franchise owner, I would feel embarrassed. KFC Corporation needs to urgently intervene to resolve this situation.
