My favorite place to go either with my husband, my kids or for a family dinner out. The variety of options makes it the perfect place for families with picky eaters. The ambience is great and the waiters are really kind. I love that when I'm done and they come to remove the plates, they ask if I want dessert, the check or stay and chill for while instead of just bringing the check. View all feedback.
What Adolfo Heathcote doesn't like about Brickhouse Tavern:
When we pulled up, there wasn’t a single car in the parking lot.. so we were quite confused when the bartender/server with the pink hair (didn’t catch her name) had all the attitude in the world and sat behind the bar staring at us. Lost our appetite for their food went too dubs. Don’t recommend. View all feedback.
We bring the new year in this place, and we have so much fun!!!
This place has a great pizza and cheese sticks! Can't wait to visit JMU again, so we can treat ourselves again!
I wasn't expecting much because it looked more like a bar/college hangout than a restaurant. However, the pizza was quite good. I neglected to take a picture of it because I quickly consumed it.
This place is great! Students can walk from the dormitories or their classes. Go after a performance at Forbes Center. Or just keep visiting, it is easy to reach and they have parking in front and back. You have a great Dukes Dog on the wall. Many TVs to see. Booths or tables to sit and can fit any size party. The temps were comfortable, especially on this hot day. The staff was extremely attentive and pleasant. Our table was kept clean everywhere. Fillings came at the right time. We ordered a chicken burger that had the perfect amount of toppings, tasted the chicken fresh and grilled beautiful, liked the addition of bacon, and the bungalow was roasted to the correct amount of crabs. I love shredded salad so much better than just put a lashy piece on top. The frits were excellent, perfectly crispy coating, delicate inside and served hot. We also had the Alfredo, who comes with a generous amount of pasta, creamy and rich sauce, which is not overwhelming. Garlic bread was a nice addition. And our third court was Brickhouse Rye. Bread was fresh, not dry. Again the shredded salad loved. General amount of meat, various flavors well mixed. Served with pasta salad, which happens to be the best pasta salad we've ever had. All three of us tried. The spicy, rich dressing, pasta cooks exactly right. That's not enough. I liked the receipt had top percentages that helps in the exam. And I liked that we were checked from more than just the waitress. She was great, btw. Although she trained someone, she stayed with us and had a great personality and energy. Will definitely return when in the area. Addendum: went back and had the Cheeseburger. Another well-made sandwich with fantastic frits. My only complaint would be the lady bath. It was clean and well filled. But it smells like effluent, as if effluent escaped from the pipes. I covered my face with my shirt. The staff had to notice when they checked for it all day. Yes. Addendum: went back for another great meal and the bath situation was much improved. Problem solved.
Best pizza in Harrisonburg safe. We were never disappointed. The oven sets the best taste. Very recommended.
