Lakeside Brew Pub And Grill Gateway Marina

Food was great, people were great, everyone was super helpful.

Been to the Lakeside many-a-time and it never disappoints. Whether I’m stopping in for a quick drink or wanting to sit down and eat a full meal I’ve always walked away happy that I stopped in.If you’re in the area, make sure you stop in for a great time and even better view! It’s one of my favorite boat-in spots on the lake with dedicated boat parking which can be hard to find on a busy day in Harrison!

We love spending time in Harrison in the summer, and after a long day boating and swimming today, kids and friends in tow, the owner at the Gateway Marina very quickly and graciously got us out of a bind when our boat was acting up. He dropped what he was doing and helped us out, no questions asked, no payment needed. This is the kind of small town place we want to frequent, and will continue to go back to!

Be careful where you park. Unknowingly a family member parked near the owners car, which caused a ticket and cones to be placed around their car. On the ticket it stated that they now owed them a fine for trespassing and tampering with private property and that they moved the cones to park. I had been to their car multiple times to grab things and the cones were moved behind their vehicle shortly before we gathered up to leave. Upon asking for the video to be reviewed as no one in our party had touched any of their cones they refused to pull up video footage. And further stated you may not eat there and use the beach after with your vehicle in their parking lot. The interesting thing is we had a vehicle parked in the parking lot as well using it the exact same way and did not get any ticket, it was only the car near the owners “spot” that they had an issue with.If you are going to ticket vehicles for using your parking lot in a way you don’t want it used…enforce it with all of the vehicles.This entire experience makes me not want to use this establishment in the future. My family was also told if they park in the parking lot again in the future police will be involved… so that’s cool.Definitely not how you treat customers or people you want to keep as future customers.
