We adore Sakana! The food is consistently excellent, and the chefs are fantastic as well. My daughter has an allergy to garnishes, and they are always very accommodating about it. This time, the service was a bit slower than usual, as they seemed slightly overwhelmed. However, both the server and the chef were incredibly kind. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sakana Japanese:
Service was terrible. All our entrees were incorrect. Server brought out our salad AFTER we already had our entrees. Everything was slow and we were there for almost 2.5 hours. During that time the server didn’t even once offer us drink refills View all feedback.
Sushi and hibachi choices are both tasty and nicely done, and the value is reasonable. Ambiance is not much to look at, but it is clean.
I've been there several times. Food is good, but service is usually really slow and inconsistent. They're byob, but you have to wait forever for them to uncork your bottle or bring you wine glasses. Servers disappear for long periods of time. We had a reservation for Friday night at 7 PM and they only had one chef working on a busy night. We sat for an hour before he even began to cook our food. If they would tighten things up, it would be a great place.
Service was a bit slow the night we were there, think they may of been short a chef. Our chef did little of the normal theatrics of most Hibachi chefs, not sure if he was hurried or just not that personable. The food was good and the supporting service for drinks and appetizers was good.
Went on a date, reserved through open table...restaurant was closed...someone messed up!
Just ok food. The soup and salad that comes with your meal are not tasty. The hibachi is good but oddly warm. The service is horrendous.. For this reason we won't return.
