What Amber Drake doesn't like about Red Crab Juicy Seafood:
The food was fine. It wasn't necessarily the authentic flavor I look for when I come east, but some of it was there. For the price, I probably would have given it another star if I didn't feel like the portions were quite small. All in all, it will satisfy a seafood craving, the service was generally good, and the flavors were pretty good. It just fell slightly short. View all feedback.
Nice people. Average food. Slow service. The black muscles we ordered didn't come initially, but they brought them out shortly after. Took 30 mins for appetizers and another 15 for the main course with the missing muscles. Luckily, everyone was celebrating their birthday here, and it was great hearing the black happy birthday song several times in one night. Vietnamese seafood broil much better.
We went for lunch and had the hushpuppies and calamari for appetizers. The calamari is one of the best in the area so far. The hushpuppies were delicious as well. We also shared a Po 'Boy Fried Catfish Sandwich and Fries. The Catfish lacked some of that southern kick , it was still tasty with the reumolade drizzled in top. Surprisingly, I liked the French Fries and I am pretty picky with Fries. Edit to say he couldn 't wait to eat before I took pics!
A lot of seafood choices! And let me say THEY KNOW HOW TO COOK! We had the Saturday special and the lobster was cooked to perfection. The shrimp is devine. This place reminds me of a great place in Arizona that we went to a lot, we will come here more often. Only con is the music gets really loud and we can not here each other. Not a fan of the music getting that loud, however they only do it for a short time. As long as the music does not stay over powering then we will continue to come here. Edit: we sat. Waitied for 15 min and no one came to see us to start our drinks. We left across the street to p j and got seated and drinks in less then 2 min.
The seafood boils are delicious. The juice is phenomenal. It is worth the price and we will be back!
Waiter could have been more attentive to our table . Lady at the bar came to our table with a very nasty attitude and was very rude. The manager was rude while we were leaving. One of the children in our party said thank you and bye. When asked was anyone going to respond the manger asked did it have to come from her, which I found very odd and rude. She then proceeded and asked us to leave and was still being rude. Food was mediocre. They are now skipping on the corn and potatoes. This was a very horrible experience will not recommend.
