one of the top Mexican restaurants in harrisburg area. had some new touches, such as tacos with specially marinated pork with pineapple. 3 different sauce toppings available on many dressed. everything was done fresh, so ready to wait. they cannot be removed from the interior, which looks like a small Mexican food on the first look. there is a small area in the left back and a restaurant kitchen in the very back. What User doesn't like about La Oaxaqueña Mexican:
The food was just okay—not very well seasoned—and the wait was quite long, especially since it was one of the few options available. The service was nearly nonexistent, and the prices were high considering what you get. I would recommend Mi Tierra instead. View all feedback.
The food is overpriced for what you get! I recommend saving your money and time by avoiding this place. This was my first and last experience here. They also impose a 4% fee, and you can only use a credit card if your purchase is at least $10. This is more of an American-Mexican restaurant than authentic Mexican cuisine. Additionally, the woman at the register was quite rude. Perhaps it's due to her appearance, as she has a very long back and no neck. I can see how that might make someone unhappy!

The food was decent, but the side dishes were cold. It had more of a taco stand or bodega vibe. I probably won't be returning.
Don't go here!! The first reason is because the food is disgusting and doesn't even taste authentically Mexican and the meat wasn't seasoned at all. The second reason is because it's overpriced. The third reason is that the customer service is horrible! The cashier was so rude plus didn't offer any condiments or napkins. Sorry excuse for Mexican Cuisine.
