Dunkin' - Harrisburg

Dunkin' Donuts really lives up to its reputation. I had an excellent experience—was in and out quickly during the morning rush!

On my third visit, Matt was working. I ordered snackin' bacon, hash browns, and an iced mocha, but they simply gave me regular coffee instead of mocha. To make matters worse, the bacon and hash browns were ice-cold, as if they had been sitting out. They didn’t even bother to heat them up! I had to wait at the drive-thru window for 15 minutes after paying, and then when I drove back to the window to address the issue, the lady claimed that I needed to request the bacon be heated. As if I’ve never been to Dunkin' Donuts before! Seriously, who expects to get cold bacon? When I pointed out how unreasonable that was, she insisted that it's standard to ask for hot bacon. It just doesn't make sense.

I went in to order a coffee and some donuts, which is what you would typically expect to find at this kind of place. However, with each type of donut I requested from their menu, I was met with, "Sorry, we're out of ____ donuts." I couldn't help but wonder if this was one of those locations I recently heard about that broke child labor laws and had let go of underage staff, which might explain their inability to keep up with donut production. Then I realized I was the only customer in sight, so no—this was just a donut-less donut shop.

Ali and his staff are awesome. They are warm, inviting and aim to please. The avocado toast with sundried tomatoes is my favorite right now.

Dunkin donuts speaks for itself. My experience was excellent actually, in and out during morning rush ??????
