What Melisa Pollich doesn't like about Donatella's:
The service was terrible. We waited 45 minutes until a manager finally came over and took our drink order. 5 minutes later the same waiter took our dinner order. It took another 20 minutes before we got our drink and our food came out shortly after. We went from waiting without a drink to having everything show up at essentially the same time. Donatella always supplies. great restaurant with magnificent view of the tree. Many birthdays (not ours) are celebrated during our visit.
Nice atmosphere, we went to sat. at night, had a reservation and sat immediately. service was easy ok definatley room for improvement. the food was very good, I had the T-bone Veal Cup, which was delicious and it was huge! hubby had the shrimp scampi, which was also very delicious. would be coming back, not on a Saturday night!
Very interesting selection of pasta papardelle with short rib ragu very good choice / stuffed artichokes omg / huhn portofino 5*/big dishes/fair prices/alloverall great experience in the worth of travel / good food / good service will be back.
Top -Top notch restaurant,Top quality food ,,Filet Mignon with shaved Black trouffle ' ' was an unbeliavable experience,I must suggest to everyone You must try this dish before you die,what a restaurant an amazing food! I will skip NYC dinning experience anyday of the week for this place!Everything its so tasty,Octopus melts in your mouth,but that Filet Mignon was unbeliavable taste!
