Yoshi Hibachi Grille - Harper Woods

I was disappointed with the food at this restaurant. It was dry and overpriced, especially considering that it only came with plain white rice. If you wanted chicken fried rice, it was an additional $4. The dishes were not well mixed together and the steak was overcooked and dry. Any sauce had to be purchased separately. The only positive aspect of the experience was the polite staff. Overall, I was unhappy and do not plan on returning.

First of all, the food is just okay. I only went because it's close to home and not fried. But on top of being just okay, they are not even open according to the online operating hours. If you want to place an order, it has to be done an hour before closing either by phone or in person. They simply suck, plain and simple.

The food is excellent, but the one downside that keeps it from a 5-star review is that dining inside the restaurant is not an option.

I’ve had the Shrimp fried rice from here multiple times and it was always buttery and seasoned. However, I recently had the hibachi chicken delivered and it didn’t taste fresh or seasoned. The rice and chicken was pretty bland.. as well as the 3 pieces of broccoli. I figured the yum yum sauce and garlic butter would give it some life but the yum yum sauce was very watery and it seems like you would need lots of garlic butter to add any type of life to the food. Maybe I tried them on a bad day

Cashier Deborah was friendly and helpful. Great personality. Food was delicious. Shrimp and rice hibachi with the side of yumyum sauce. Location was very clean even the plexi glass. Great job team.
