Loco Creek Grill - Harlowton

I absolutely loved the warm atmosphere of this quaint little restaurant. The portion sizes were larger than what you typically find these days, and the lunch prices were very reasonable. Growing up in a small rural town, this place felt just like home. The food was fantastic, and the staff were so friendly!

I read an article a long time ago that claimed Loco Creek Grill has the best hamburger in Montana. At the time, I was a delivery driver and always wanted to give it a try. However, I eventually stopped being a delivery driver to work behind a desk and never had the opportunity to return to Harlowton. Last weekend, while camping at Deadman Basin, I was fortunate enough to be close enough to finally visit Loco Creek. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait! Although I didn’t try the hamburger, so I can’t comment on whether it’s truly the best, we did order half a steak sandwich and half a Philly cheese sandwich to share, and both were delicious! The steak wasn't heavily seasoned, but it didn’t need to be; it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The Philly was juicy and came with au jus, which was a first for me—but it was fantastic! If you find yourself in the area, make sure to stop by Loco Creek Grill. Give the hamburger a try and let them know what you think!
