The restaurant was half full because a section was closed off so we ha... read more I went and had dinner with my nephews after the movies. I think maybe the crew was tired. The restaurant was half full because a section was closed off so we had to wait for 10 min. With COVID I have to consider Denny's one of the restaurants out there to still keep things as normal considering what is going on. I do think the food and service were it bit less than good as usual due to this and it's staff being exhausted. I ordered the 3 appetizer. Double cheese sticks and onion rings. The cheese sticks were cooked crispy golden brown. Very well done but the onion rings were a little burned. I also ordered the caramel pancakes which didn't disappoint. Yummy. My nephews orders the fish which was a little dry but the sides were very good. My other nephew ordered the chicken fried steak, large Texas portions. The mash potatoes were done with real potatoes but the corn was not that good. My other nephew ordered the grand slam which was all cooked accordingly well. And my other nephew ordered the sandwich with fries which was also very good. They needed more waiters. Hopefully the economy picks up and people will go back to work. The waiter did his best considering the amount of tables he had to serve. We waited patiently because we understand the situation. Again Denny's, THANK YOU for keeping the American traditions alive, where we live in country and the great state of Texas for allowing us our freedom.

The food was also pretty good and... read more I went pretty late to go eat and surprisingly, it was pretty packed. We did get sat relatively quick though, so that was good. The food was also pretty good and the server was really nice. The only downside was that it did take a while for us to get the food. But the server was really good with keeping up with our drinks and checking in with us. Overall, I’d say my experience was alright simply because we had to wait so long for our food to get to us.
