My mother and older friend here for the afternoon, on Tuesday, they were both so impressed never had a choice of sandwich before anywhere else! sandwiches, selection of scoone with cream and jam and choice of cake plus tee for £11.95 I believe. the tee room is beautiful, old-fashioned atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and polite, highly recommended.

In 1940, we visited the Harleston Cornucopia at the weekend, located in the Corn Exchange in Norfolk, alongside friends. The restaurant is housed in a stunning Victorian building featuring a beautiful fountain, a vintage street scene, a charming 1950s snack bar, and a cozy 1940s parlor tea room. On the ground floor, you’ll find Arbella Road, which has a collection of shops and cabinets offering a diverse range of vintage items. There truly is nothing in life that can’t be solved with a cup of tea shared with friends.

A must visit for anyone visiting Harleston. Allow at least two hours for your visit though as so much to see. Do the ground floor and then stop for tea in the olde tea shop...then tackle the top floor. If you dont enjoy the visit I would be extremely surprised.
