I went for the duck and bubble, with my friend for the seafood pasta. we couldn't resist a garlic pizza on the side. all tasted fresh. the duck was a joy, but it was the white bonsmaic and the roasted carrot I loved most. I had to have a panacotta later. there is no image as it tasted too good! all were served with a glass homemade limonade and a pint of purple moose ale. the service was raised. super friendly and helpful. we will go again and we are already on the clock to wait to go to lunch again!

My man booked a table for my birthday and it was a culinary joy! all on the menu looks delicious, it was hard to choose we shared starter portions of pizza and... read more My man booked a table for my birthday and it was a culinary joy! all on the menu looks delicious, it was hard to choose we shared starter portions of pizza and pasta (both fantastic) followed by the best ever steak and chips. we enjoyed it far more than hawksmoor in london, if we lived only closer to this jewel of a restaurant. very attentive service, we enjoyed our evening very well, perfectly finished with homemade cheesecake. hopefully back!

If there's a microwave in the kitchen, it seems like it’s rarely used! The prices are reasonable, and the ambiance and decor are quite pleasing. We decided to take our dessert to go since one guest couldn't make it, and the staff handled it effortlessly, adding another positive touch to our evening. Highly recommended!

Really tender, juicy meat, full of flavour. The service was really friendly. We also had an amazing donut (made in house). This place is such a cut above your average local cafe, well worth a visit!
