It was lovely and cool in the hot... read more My friend and I lunched here yesterday. We chose this hotel as it was a very hot day and we wanted to park close to the hotel. It was lovely and cool in the hotel and my friend ordered the Seafood Platter (I have forgotten the exact name of the dish) for $24 and I ordered the Senior's Roast for $13. The meals were delicious and the servings were just right. My friend then had a pavlova with berry coulis for $6 which she enjoyed. The service was great, lovely views - overall an enjoyable time (almost 3 hours) relaxing. Lunch menu is $13pp.

Last to be served (no big deal) but at least half an hour after everyone had finished their meal. Chicken was dry, chips tasted like they were cooked again and were cold on serving. No dressing on the salad. My husband wrote on a serviette 'shocking meal'. They were also understaffed on the night.

I ordered the Peri Peri Chicken and was impressed with how quickly my meal arrived. The taste was so delicious that I even looked up the recipe online and emailed it to myself. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend the Blue Mountain Hotel for their excellent service, tasty food, and welcoming staff.
