Contribute Feedback What vickyj2030 doesn't like about Bongo Bar Restaurant:
On both of my occasions I got a takeaway. We ordered two peshwari naans and We only got one, and so I could only eat poppadoms and it left me very unsatisfied. Got another takeaway last night and although we received everything we ordered, the food is pretty bad. There's little to no flavour, and the peshwari naan was especially disappointing. I do not recommend this place, and I will not be ordering from here again. View all feedback.
I ordered something tsofi and plantain from here not too long before, the pfeffer and the shito was delicious, full of taste, as it was not too spicy. the tsofi was beautiful and juicy, but it would have been nice if it had pfeffer over it or more suya powder. the plantain was not bad. I received good customer service from the waitress.
It's been a long time since I was here last time. it looks much improved, cleaned and less loud with loud music. the service was good and professional. food prices are reasonable, with goat soup at £6. beautiful kelewel (spicked fried plantain and Guinea-Fowl (locally known as AkonfABLE) would recommend.
Serene atmosphere. really loved their grilled guinea fowl
Hubby ordered the suya for beginners. it was hot but absolutely delicious! I had fufu, light suppe with fish that was beautiful. hubby had chofi with fried yam. that was amazing! there is a station to wash their hands before their meal when they wanted to eat with their hands. cutlery is provided for those who prefer to use it!
We would like to Thank Irene and the team. We use the Bongo Bar to celebrate our dad's birthday . The addition decorations looked first class , with the kente on the tables and all the centre pieces. Made the celebration extra special!! We had a buffer style meal , which was very tasty . Eunice you were very professioand and attentive to us. An excellent experience
