What User likes about Village Restaurant:
Village restaurant was just what we needed when we needed it. On top of having brewed iced tea (a rarity in the NEK in my experience), they offered a great selection of standard US breakfast and lunch choices (we enjoyed a solid BLT, excellent onion rings, and an delicious barnyard skillet), a beautiful view, and top-notch service. Pro tip: get your muffin grilled while you wait. We'll definitely be back. Service: Di... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Village Restaurant:
Terrible for such a local legion! After sitting for over 30 minutes after ordering our 20 year old male server forgot to deliver our soup — so the kitchen had to reheat. The Corn Chowder was thicker than Elmers Glue. The Veggie Omelette was 1/2 full of greasy veggies. But wait — the whole wheat toast was excellent. Nice setting; clearly a local’s favorite. Maybe we got a bad day. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 View all feedback.

While some diners praised the delicious food and affordable prices, others were disappointed by long wait times and small portion sizes. The service quality varied, with some customers raving about attentive and friendly servers, while others complained about untrained staff. Despite these mixed opinions, many people continued to visit regularly for the tasty meals and charming atmosphere. Overall, The Village Restaurant seems to offer classic diner choices at affordable prices, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
