What a little gem, we had a fantastic meal here tonight, beautiful family run pub, secret and welcoming, home cooked food that was absolutely delicious, in a beautiful picturesque environment, what more could they ask for them, we will definitely return. both youngs loved it too and cleaned her teller a big hit with my family round xx
I had a fantastic meal! I enjoyed the homemade lasagna while my daughter had the steak cakes. Both dishes were freshly cooked, served in generous portions, and offered great value for the money. I would definitely recommend this place!
Beautiful evening. great staff, very friendly, excellent service. the meal was very nice. highly recommended.
An absolute hidden gem! We took my mum out for Mother's Day lunch, and everything was perfect. The service, the food, and the ambiance were all fantastic. There was plenty of space between the tables, so we couldn't overhear other conversations, yet we didn't feel isolated. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the landlord and landlady were wonderfully friendly. The food was delicious; if you're looking for a place off the beaten path but still easily accessible on a main road, then The Shoulder at Hardstoft is the place to go. I recommend making a reservation, as they tend to get quite busy. Plus, there's a large parking lot that is accessible for those with disabilities.
