The buffet is great for the price. I've noticed that the selections change each time I visit. I really enjoy the salad and dessert options they offer. They even have an egg station and a sugar-free dessert area. While it would be nice to see more vegetarian options, I have still managed to find plenty to eat and leave feeling quite full. What User doesn't like about Paipas Buffet:
The menu has changed, offering a different selection. The buffet is okay; some dishes look appealing, but they don't taste as good as expected. Here are some pictures. View all feedback.

When we reached the buffet area, everything looked and smelled wonderful, as always. However, once we sat down, my partner was already unhappy and complained that some of his favorite dishes, including fried chicken (which I had picked as well), were missing. I couldn’t argue with him; I tried the chicken, and it was disappointing. I sampled some of my other choices, but began to feel unwell. My partner then expressed that he didn’t feel comfortable and wanted to wait for me in the car. That was not a good sign, as he has an iron stomach. At that point, I was quite dissatisfied with my meal, and since my partner was upset, I decided to join him in the car and head home. I had a feeling this was going to end badly for me, especially since I have sensitive skin issues. Unfortunately, I ended up feeling very ill later on. That was strike two for sure! Since we left so abruptly, I hadn’t gotten a chance to speak to someone about our concerns and dissatisfaction. I decided to email the casino/buffet instead. To my surprise, no one reached out to address my concerns or to apologize. About a week later, I called and spoke to one of the buffet managers, who offered a half-hearted apology. She insisted that there hadn’t been other complaints that day and downplayed my concerns, suggesting that what I ate might not have made us sick after all. This was definitely strike three! I truly hope our experience was an isolated incident and not reflective of a new standard for the Sycuan Casino and its buffet, especially since they recently increased their prices. At least as elite club members, we got a 50% discount; otherwise, I would be even angrier about the money we wasted sitting in the buffet for just five minutes before getting sick. There’s no excuse for not responding to customer concerns, and it’s even worse for a manager to brush off a situation where someone got sick from the food. I hope they take the time to address customer feedback in the future and ensure that the quality of their food remains consistently high.
My food of pastas and beef was ok but my wife got slightly ill 6 hours after eating oysters and crab. There was a good selection of food, clean restaurant with wonderful waiters. Had the seafood been maintained better I'd give it a 4 star easy.
No kids please! Make the kids stay on the hotel said this isn't right I come here to get away from my own kids. NO KIDS PLEASE!
