I give 5 stars for the Tiramisu! Wow! I'm convinced they don't make it in-house, and I wish they would disclose who provides this delightful dessert! The wood-fired pizza is incredibly tasty as well! However, the gelato was a bit too frozen, and it didn't quite stand out after enjoying the delicious pepperoni pizza and that generous slice of Tiramisu. FETA food_explore_travel_adventure. What Arcia Williams Epps (Ma) doesn't like about Double Down Grill:
When I went back to return the incorrect food, I was given the correct order, but it had obviously been prepared over 30 minutes earlier, despite the staff telling me it was fresh. I didn't want to make a scene, so I reluctantly accepted it, although I was quite unhappy about it.
For anyone with a similar background as mine, I recommend either avoiding this place or checking your order thoroughly before leaving. Th... View all feedback.
I live literally 7 minutes away from Sycuan, I gotta say Hodad's my go to place every time I crave a burger! I always get the bacon cheeseburger and it's always super juicy and delicious. The service there is excellent, never had a bad experience and the cashier is super friendly.
The food here deserves a five star rating, however the service is absolutely disgusting. Vanessa helped me place my order and then I sat there waiting and watching the four people that ordered after me receive their food. The whole time she looked at me, spoke to the kitchen and then they all laughed. I finally walked up and asked how much longer it should take and she laughed and said it's coming up next. I don't like leaving reviews based on shifty service, but this lady was uncalled for and plain rude.
The bacon cheeseburger would have been great if the bacon wasn't burnt. The milkshake was better than average. Not too sweet and very thick.
Not even the same as the real Hodad 's locations. At LEAST a star less. Flavorless burgers and sides, and for some reason, even seems like a lesser quality beef is used. The sliced fresh onions were almost as thick as the bun. We were adding salt, pepper and all the condiments to get them in the ok mode. Although, this entire food court is essentially not representative of what these restaurants really are. I 've systematically tried them all, and they all appear to be average to below what each brand implies. This seems to be the case for many businesses with a satellite location in a casino, mall food court, etc. It 's unfortunate because you get a mediocre replacement. One cool thing they do is serve beers in a really cool mason jar style mug that says on it- County Fair Drinking Jar..! I don 't expect these to be around long though. People staying in the hotel will take them to their rooms and, I think you know the rest.
Must go in sd we go once a month. I love their onion rings! Huge and the batter is amazing
