The Meadow Brook Functions - Hanson

Mediocre at best! The food was below average, service was okay, our waitress was quick but no no personality and did not engage with us socially. She gave the impression that she did not want to be there. There were several private events going on in their function rooms, but the dining room and bar area had plenty of available tables. Reservations are not needed for this place. The prices were reasonable, not exaggerated in anyway there is plenty of parking and is handicap assessable. This place is definitely dated and needs to come into our century. It reminds me of the old Bella’s in Rockland, it needs a complete overhaul incuding the food, menus and atmosphere. The food orders were plentiful, but had no flavor whatsoever. I think quantity wins over quality! Parking: Huge parking lot, front and back area. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, ramp outside of main entrance.

We have been here for many functions. Always wonderful meals and great venue.

The warm brown butter cake is fabulous! The chicken salad roll, on the daily special, was good too! Grandmother thought clam chowder had too many potatoes. She also complained the whole lunch about a poster roll she had there for mother's day lol My mother and I loved what we had.

Excellent service, food, portions and price. Our first time and we will be returning. Had the glazed salmon which was cooked to perfection, the asparagus was not over cooked and the sweet potato mash was seasoned a little strong for my taste but still very good. Even my French martini was perfect.

Went to an Autism eats event in the function room there. Food was good staff was super helpful. We will be going back for dinner in the restaurant
