What User doesn't like about Swiss Chalet:
It’s difficult to reach someone by phone. I attempted to call for a day and a half to fix an incorrect order, but the line was always busy. I understand that it’s a busy establishment, but it shouldn’t be so hard to get in touch with someone. View all feedback.
Aweful. Place was empty (Swiss Chalet Hanover, ON), 2 customers, 5 staff at lunchtime. Seemed completely uninterested in service and quality. Had to go back 4 time to get what was ordered. Thankgiving feast, what I got was not even an attempt. See pics, see what was advertised, vs what was recieved. This was pathetic.
The experience was quite disappointing. I ordered the Thanksgiving special, but the stuffing was absent, and there was barely a bite of cranberry sauce. The chicken was overly greasy and had some pink spots; I ended up having to throw it away.
I received a $50 voucher a while back and have only used it once, so my total bill didn't even come close to that amount. However, for some inexplicable reason, the SW/H charged the entire $50 to the voucher, resulting in a zero balance. I reached out to the company that issued the voucher, but they told me there was nothing they could do and that the SW/H store is responsible for the issue. This just doesn't feel fair. I'm very disappointed.
I had ribs and chicken with chalet sauce for dinner. The food was excellent!
Great restaurant with good food and reasonable prices.
