We cooked with siri and it was a wonderful experience! she was really friendly and she learned so much about cooking, but also about vietnams traditions and funny facts.
This was literally the highlight of our trip! We booked for today and were only two people in the afternoon class. Siri was our teacher and we had so much fun. We went to the market where they explained all the ingredients, showed us around and bought us some Vietnamese donuts and a pig to have as a snack while on the market. After that we started cooking! We made Pho, Papaya salad, spring rolls, pig balls and egg coffee! We have made everything from scratches, used all fresh ingredients and fresh spices. After cooking we had dinner together and talked a lot about everything! Siri made us very welcome and we really enjoyed our afternoon/night! Can only recommend doing this if you love Vietnamese food and like to do something about the ingredients and how to make it. Siri's English is really, really good and after class you get your own certificate and all recipes in a small recipe book. A beautiful day! Thank you.
Great time at the cooking class yesterday led by Nhi. We learned so many great dishes and tons of secrets of the trade and had a ton of fun and laughs while we learned. One of the better cooking classes I’ve ever done. Already recommended it to a few friends travelling in Hanoi, confident they’ll have a great time
Very great experience, with nice people! We began with the market to take all the ingredients, and then we cooked all the dishes. Spring rolls, egg coffee… It was very complete! Love it
Great experience by a local cook, we learned enough to replicate the recipes at home. Take a container for left overs as you make a lot of food. Class can cater for vegetarians.
