Stopped on the way through Hanna.Don't be put off by the exterior-yes, it's old. But VERY clean.Had a Mushroom Burger - delicious, with LOTS of mushrooms.Onion rings very good - crispy, not too much coating.Lots of variety on the menu.Bathroom facilities old but very clean.If you want a roadside burger stop that's good value - don't bypass the Burger Baron. If you go to a place that claims to be a burger joint, expect high-quality burgers and amazing taste. This Burgerbaron didn't, in fact it was the opposite. We ordered two different burgers that tasted like they had frozen long, and onion rings and pommes. All these were amazing and openly disappointed. Donair meat made in the house! Nine Nuggets and a Donaire loved every bite, so filled 21 dollars well spent
Wasn't in a Burger Baron for years, but glad we stopped this side. Food and service were excellent. We recently moved to the area and this will be our way to Burgerplatz. It was a sunny August 2022 Calgary morning and I had the day off so I pointed the motorbike towards drumheller and was off. Wasn't sure where to eat and this place popped up in my search. I wanted something different than the usual stops in Drum. Figured it was to far, 40 minutes or something to Hanna so I figured I would try out this place. Ok value for the buck I guess. It was pretty average. Would I eat here again, sure, if I was passing through. Would I go out of my way again, no.
Reasonably priced food, conveniently located just off the highway before the Hanna exit. They offer both a sit-down restaurant and a drive-thru, which is perfect if you're in a hurry and need to get back on the road quickly. While the burger was decent, it wasn't particularly special, but it was freshly made and served hot. Service: Take out
