Good little spot to eat on our way through back to Iowa.
Cashier with friendly enough. There was about 12 people standing outside and we still got our order within a reasonable amount of time. You were going to sit at the picnic tables however there was a lot of flies so we decided to eat in the car. Banana split was pretty standard but the burgers and the onion rings were amazing! You can tell they were freshly made. The onion rings were great the type that you bite into you and the whole onion ring doesn't just fall out. Each bite had a perfect amount of crispy and tasty onion inside. Got a Coke fountain drinks for Pepsi products and the french fries were good not like record-breaking like the onion rings.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids around had a little car toy that they can ride in for 50 cents. Ice cream available in lots of flavors and not to expensive...
This place only accepts cash. They have really good ice cream, just don't order too much food. It will take forever to get it.
Cash only. Not really a drive-in . You walk up, place your order, and I suggest taking it to go. We tried to sit at one of the benches. The flies were relentless! To be fair, where we got gas across the street, the flies were there also. Cheeseburger: 4 stars. Hot, perfectly toasted bun, fresh toppings. Fries: 5 stars. Hot, cooked perfectly. Finally, my wife had a coconut slushy. Great! I will get it to go if I returned.
