Because of Covid, this quaint restaurant has suffered. I remember the good old days before Covid arrived, this restaurant was bustling. The food, drink and service were amazing. Unfortunately only a part of this spacious restaurant is open for business. The food is still delicious, but it seemed to have lost its heart. I am hopeful for a full recovery for this wonderful establishment. View all feedback.
What Mozelle Haag doesn't like about El Tarasco Restaurant:
The place was crowded and was kind of unsure who our waiter was. We had like 2 or 3 people randomly checking our table. Took forever to get a drink order in, which is crazy because the salsa is spicy(it's yummy though). Also took forever to get our food. Once we did, I'm not sure why it took so long....disgusting. For the first time visiting this restaurant after more than 12 years in this city. Taste was very good, but the service was not well planned with it was 5 de Mayo and the place packed. It'll be back. Image: Enchiladas Tarrascas (Mole).
Pretty solid Mexican place. Burritos are my goal. Had the Pollo Suizo and it was pretty good, not absolutely great. Still killed the plate tho. Only the problem is NIE every Horchata!
El Tarasco has the most delicious menu. The rich ingredients and aromas they introduce are not only nostalgic, they are masterful! The service is great. They treat you like family here! The cocktails are freshly prepared and the culinary experience is so authentic. My Hispanic family is very picky when eating in Mexican restaurants and El tarasco is our favorite place. There is no competition. I love this place
The food was absolutely excellent when it arrived. It took quite a long time. In fact, there is a 90-minute limit for din in, and we were definately there longer than the, table of 3.
Pearla is an awesome waitress ribeye and the pink lemonade are delicious!!!thank you!
