Was Dante Reichert at Hancock Inn a mag?
it was a past. great service. a cave is that the place may oversold the new england in experience. many top spots make them feel lighter around their product. we loved eating. we loved the service. We wish we could have felt that we could leave our haare down. View all feedback.

What Madelyn Hackett dislikes about Hancock Inn:
Really bad Christmas eve dinner, I can't believe we were charged money for such a bad experience. We had been in before for the tasting menu and had the same high expectations but it wasn't until the end of the meal we found out the chef had changed. Food was cold and bland, service was completely absent, asked for drink refills repeatedly to no avail and whatever they did to change the dining room now felt like an o... View all feedback.

We had a nice meal on the porch of the Fox Tavern last night, celebrating our 39th anniversary. The menu choices were not outstanding, but all of the dishes were well-prepared, and both the food and the wine list were very reasonably priced. I had the dry-rubbed pork shoulder and the gingered mashed sweet potatoes, and shared a summer salad with my wife, and a pavlova for dessert. Nasty thing about the pandemic is that food sharing does not work so well, but everybody else said that they were enjoying their food. I WAS, however, able to grab some of the shredded celery root appetizer using a clean fork before my brother had eaten any, and it was delicious. Service was excellent, too

I was in the hancock last weekend. it was great! the guest house is beautiful. built in 1789. it is the oldest guest house in nh and it has been preserved beautifully. the rooms were very nice and well maintained. it was a cold night, but our room was warm comfortable. we had breakfast the next morning. I had strawberry pancakes and my son had the eiersandwich with a whistle. the food was delicious! the owners (jarvis marcia) and the other staff (rhonda) were very friendly and welcoming. I am definitiw back. hopefully this summer.

My wife and I stayed at the inn overnight and had breakfast and dinner here. It's a lovely place with traditional New England charm that has also been updated and kept clean without losing its historic appeal. The food was also fantastic. We rate it 5 out of 5 and will definitely return.

Always a favorite, worth saving up for. Authentically antique, like my grandparents Cloverset Farm.
