Ku’ulei’s Gourmet - Hanapepe

I was craving a sweet treat and am so glad I stopped in here. They make ice cream sandwiches with fresh baked cookies. You choose the cookie you'd like for your ice cream sandwich and they make it right then when you order. I picked the double chocolate macadamia nut cookies and it was amazing, even better than expected. The cookies were still slightly warm and were soft which was so nice with the vanilla ice cream. Often ice cream sandwiches are premade and fully frozen, this was so much better. They also had cut the sandwich in half which was perfect for sharing with my husband. This is my favorite treat I've had on the island so far, and honestly the best ice cream sandwich I've ever had, if this store were any closer to where we're staying I would be here every day! The service was very friendly as well.

5 Stars are not enough.Just had their chicken pesto on foccacia- broke da mouth.. Best sandwich I've had on island..ever.Clam chowder was delicious.Mint, lemonade tea was just right...and their papaya/lilikoi salad dressing is in a class of it's own.Looking forward to next time?

This is such a gem of a place! It was very busy but the staff had a great energy and the food was delicious!

Amazing unique cafe. Best meal we had on Kauai. I had the Bombas which were the bomb and my wife had Ricky's Rings, onion rings stuffed with ahi poke and crabmeat. Friendly family run budinessDefinitely worth visiting this off the beat cafe.
