Panera Bread - Hampton Bays
Panera Bread
Description
This Panera location receives mixed feedback from customers. Many praise the friendly staff, especially a warm, welcoming employee and a helpful manager who go above and beyond. The restaurant is noted for its cleanliness and quick service. However, recurring issues with food quality persist—cold coffee, missing sauce on sandwiches, and disappointing portions. Some orders arrive with unexpected ingredients, and concerns about moldy beverages have been raised. Despite these inconsistencies, several enjoy the breakfast offerings and flatbread pizzas. Overall, the experience varies widely, balancing excellent service against occasional lapses in food quality and accuracy.

The quality has been declining recently. My coffee was cold, so I asked for iced tea without lemon instead. I don’t understand why they use soft yolk eggs on their breakfast sandwiches—it makes them messy to eat when you're on the go.
This Panera Bread is one of the worst I've visited. Twice in the past two weeks, I've received spoiled orange juice with my order. The first time, it just tasted off, but this morning I took a sip and found mold floating inside the bottle. When I brought it to their attention, the only response I got was a quick apology and a shrug. I ended up requesting an apple juice instead.
I recently had the chance to try the new breakfast sandwich, and it was fantastic! It was so tasty that I ended up having it almost every day this week. The only thing I wish is that breakfast was served until around 11:30, since I'm not much of an early riser!
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and I will not be going back. After we made our payment, the cashier claimed that we hadn’t paid her, even though she actually owed us money. It was quite embarrassing, but thankfully another employee witnessed the situation. To top it all off, the food was disappointing—cold and the bread was burnt.
