I love going there. The food is great and at a great price. I have never had a bad experience. They are my go to when I want that home cooked meal.Dietary restrictions: Like any soul food kitchen or any restaurant you have to deal with the salt content of any meal. What Una Little doesn't like about Ward's Soul Food Kitchen:
Not seasoned enough on the pork chops and cabbage and it's very hard to messed up potato salad so that's was alright. Man claimed it was the best spot for soul food. I disagree View all feedback.
Ole to the south cooking. I haven't had a bad thing from here yet. I just wish they were open on Mondays.
Today 10/27/22 I have baked chickens with mac-n cheese and collar green. The greens tasted dirty with grits in it, macaroni and cheese had no taste. Pig feet were really good. But waste money on baked chickens.
The staff was friendly, and * some* parts of the food were good. My brother and I visited because this place had a 4.5-star rating and we both LIEBE soul food. When I say the food was disappointing, I really think there were some pretty serious concerns. The turkey was like Ambrosia on one side, and the other tasted, but not completely spoiled. The Mac and the cheese were cold and soggy. The Yams were very grateful. The chicken and the ribs were burned unconsistently as well as surprisingly dirty. The smell was absolutely flawless, but the aromas did not fit in any way. As far as soul food goes, I would recommend finding somewhere else, *especially* at these prices.
I order turkey wing dinner it was very tasty and tasty, but the only thing I had to get the turkey wing back into the oven for a few minutes more for her brown and they were still good thank you
My husband has ben wanting to try this black owner business. And i must say the food was so good. The menu online is different, but i had mac and cheese , cabbage, hunby had fried chicken,yam and rice a gravey. We was very pleaed. Im a vegan and u like that fact no meat in the cabbage We will be returing.
