What User doesn't like about Hampton Diner:
had breakfast there. nothing special except they have a secret. when they ask for roggen toast, they get white brot with a little roggen flavor. ask them for sewn roggen and they get the right things. curious, how a place that is open for business can have written years old reviews? Wow. I went to breakfast a few times, hoping that the dinge would improve and they were just getting worse. I once asked the operator what kind of sweet it used for their omelette, and she said they cook fresh at the beginning of the week and use them all week. I said they don't taste fresh and she told me well, I don't eat any sweet, so I wouldn't know that I'm sorry, how can they take care of quality when that's their answer?
I am sorry to say that there are no positive points to mention about this restaurant. The prices are high, the portions are small, and the quality of the food is lacking.
Had breakfast at this restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The place was very clean and the service was quick.
The owner, Nettie, who is also a waitress, has been seen spitting in a trash can in front of customers and borrowing money from them without intending to pay it back due to financial struggles. She is known to curse in front of customers and exhibits unprofessional behavior by leaning over tables with legs spread while taking orders. The restaurant itself is unclean and seems to have avoided regular inspections. However, the new cook has improved the quality of the food. Nettie frequently has crying episodes and complains about feeling overwhelmed by customers and life in general. Overall, her unprofessionalism and lack of business ethics make it unlikely for customers to return to her establishment.
