Galley Hatch - Hampton

The appetizer and the meal was delicious, but our server was not very attentive and served us our dinner right after the appetizer was served. We felt as though this was intentional, to turn the table over as quickly as possible. We dine frequently, and this is the first time we have had this experience, hence we are sharing this with the community.

The steamers and fried clams were cooked perfect, served hot and didn't last long on the plate! Hubby had the prime rib and it too was cooked to perfection. Very nice meal and service. Kaylie was great!

Been there a number of times over many years. Food is not as good as I remember from years back. Prices have gone up and quality of food has not. Service folks were good and personable.

Hadn't eaten at the Galley Hatch for several years. Decided to go with another couple on a Tuesday evening. Made our reservation for 5PM online via OpenTable. We were seated promptly upon arrival. The Galley Hatch has a large menu and it was hard to decide what to order. I had the Mac and Cheese with buffalo chicken (huge portion, could only eat half of it). My wife had the chicken kebab skewers which she enjoyed. The other couple had the swordfish special and the sirloin tips and were also complimentary of their meals. Based on this experience will definitely dine at The Galley Hatch in the future.

The Galley Hatch is a must if you are in the Hampton NH area. The varied menu offers many choices to please any palate. My husband and I have been here many times through the years and the food is always consistently excellent! The portions are generous, whether you order an entree, sandwich, burger or salad. As well as the drinks. Finally, there is also the bakery in the entrance featuring many incredible looking desserts! If you are looking for a restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere, delicious food and desserts, at great value; the Galley Hatch is it!
