I love this little place, it’s close to my house and they are always very fast with getting your food out.
I keep going back hoping for better food than the last time. It's not gross, just not very good. 1. Bell peppers don't belong in most Asian food and they put them in everything. 2. Tomatoes don't belong in hot and sour soup but they were there and not a whole lot of anything else. 3. Kung Pao Chicken and any other dish that has the spicy label should be spicy, but it's not. Overall, this is a low-end American style Chinese food... not terrible, just not very good... a step up from grocery store Asian style frozen dinners. I really was hoping they'd be better after re-opening. I feel like they're just phoning it in for the dumb Americans who don't know any better. Maybe I'm just spoiled from years of eating high quality food in the Raleigh-Durham area.
The General Tso’s chicken is fantastic, I could eat it for days! Which works out, since the portion is so large I had it for dinner twice!
Ordered 2 lunch specials and a large wonton soup. Chinese vegetables in white sauce was very fresh and yummy. Not much sauce, but the flavorful veggies and rice didn't need much. Their version of wonton soup disappointed. The broth looked to to be soy flavored water, with only a few wontons. Egg rolls included with lunch specials were good.
