We hosted a graduation party at The Twisted Tavern patio and everything was perfect. Right from the start- my conversation with Morgan, our event planner, I felt immediately at ease that things would be just how we planned. The party was perfect and the venue exceeded our expectations. The food was quite good which is not easy with a buffet, the drinks never stopped flowing, and the music was on point! The chef was great. The serving staff and Zach the bartender made sure the guests were well taken. The tavern is clean and comfortable inside. I would definitely recommend for a small to mid size event. FYI they are building a larger event venue on the property as well.
This place is way underrated. My wife and I got a couple of appetizers (Cauliflower wings and the best tacos ever and dinner for two at the Twisted Tavern last week. She had the Salmon and I had the steak, and both were just about perfect. The ambience in this place is great, and their menu is amazing. I am not kidding you when I say the food is some of the best we have tasted anywhere (and we go just about everywhere! . Can't wait to go back with friends!
We love the outdoor seating at Twisted Tavern! The burgers are perfection and huge, and the Mac and cheese is out of this world. The staff is friendly And energetic. Also, this is a really nice restaurant to bring your kids to. We look forward to going every month!
Wonderful job giving the old place a much needed face lift. Facilities did look great ! Now, if you 're going to charge higher end pricing for dinner you 're going to have to do better then serving dinner meals on imitation bambo plates with plastic utensils!! The food was good but I 'm not about to eat a $39 dollar traditional cut prime rib on a paper plate with plastic utensils , are you kidding me !! And what 's with serving a $6 glass of wine in a plastic cup? (also want to mention the rice pilaf was missing from my wife 's meal and my baked potato was sbout the size of a lemon not good for the prices folks) When we asked the very pleasant and attentive server why , she said it 's the owners rule if you 're dinning outside. We frequently dine at RiverWinds outdoors and at other establishments and always are served with silverware, real plates and glass! So, while the food was good, if you want to compete and maintain a returning customer base , you absolutely need to step it up (at least for $150 dinners for two drinks , wine and meal) and not treat dinner guests like its a backyard BBQ. If you 're going to charge higher end pricing you need to treat dinner guests accordingly. I could understand the accommodations if you just walked off the course and wanted sandwich and a beer , but COME ON , if you want to compete with the better establishments and charge like it , you better step it up quickly before the overpriced reputation gets to far out there. Overall we must say we enjoyed it. I first came here in1978 and golfed here many times in the 80 's on up through 2000 's even playing a round with a previous owner. You have done a great job with this place , just step it up a notch to match your pricing and you 'll have a fine establishment for years to come.
Came to celebrate our 1 month Wedding Anniversary. For apps, we had the Italian wedding soup pan seared tuna. For dinner, I had the crab cakes my husband had the blackened peppercorn encrusted sirloin with a healthy portion of asparagus. All was delicious!!! We will be back.
