Frankie's Philly Steak - Hammond

I ordered a steak Philly and chicken Philly over the phone. The order was promptly prepared. The service was excellent and pleasant. The restaurant is small, clean, and inviting. The food received a rating of 3.5. The meat was delicious, but the overall sandwich was good. They serve a very generous portion with plenty of fries. While not as good as Philly Steak and Lemonade on Burr Street, it was fast and decent.

There is a first and a last for everything. read some of the reviews, seemed like it was a good place because I believed a Philly cheese, but wow I was disappointed. I don't think that the steak was season at all! fries warm but dry I'm sure they're sitting around. yes, good proportions, but what is the point if it is not good? in any case will not come back.

They forgot to make my food, and they only realized when I stood alone. they were really apologetic and quickly prepared my meal. I forgive that, because we are all human but, eating itself was nothing special. I think I'd be less critical if I hadn't waited for that for so long.

The staff are very friendly but the food always needs some salt, pepper, mayo, etc. After seasoning the food is OK, but the price point is a bit high to be be doctoring up your meal to make it have some flavor.

First time trying this place and the food was very good. Portion sizes are big for the price. If I had one negative it would be the woman at the register wasn't too personalble. But we will definitely go back.
