Great little local cafe. I visit this cafe frequently for my local flat white fix the only decent coffee I can find in or around Shepherd's Bush. Not to be biased, but Antipodean staff driving the espresso machine is always a good sign The cafe is cute lovely and quiet during the week (great for us freelancers and always packed on the weekend for brunch When we found out Hummingbird were now serving dinner, we decide... What User dislikes about Hummingbird Cafe:
rip off. £5 for a couple on a bit toast. okay, so the brot is the rugged brot, but that doesn't justify a five for egg on toast! Of course, they could lose an egg and add something avocado for £6.50, which is an expensive piece avocado. I think the most disappointed was that it was literally just a few simple eggs that were ploned on a slice of dry brot if you would expect at least one note on something extra for £5,... Very passable coffee for london. in a busy road of diversity after shepherds bush we set this yesterday on the list of must-seekers. remind us of the coffee shops back in oz actually. Oh, they have flat white, which we have found so far

Simple menu, with a large selection and quality. ideal for brunch, or during the week for a relaxing coffee. the brownies are amazing! recommended

Even their loyalty card for coffee requires more stamp than any other I have seen...more

Wow, how beautiful is this place. I am a bit a restaurant critic really rare to find somewhere that it had been in order last night with friends there dinner. absolutely delicious. had Moroccan lamb, a beautifully boiled fish and a couple of top pulled pigs with a bouncing delicious side and we shared. was excellent all on small boards for tasting and we had a nice and well recommended bottle of red wine (Italian surprising) and had just a nice evening in such a beautiful casual environment. obviously the place is someone's love work!

We were pleasantly surprised! At night the cafe is intimate and chilled out. A great place to catch up over a wine and some nibbles Five of us tried numerous small plates from a simple, reasonably priced menu. A combination of meat and...read more

Nestled in the vibrant Shepherd's Bush area, this charming café has garnered mixed reactions from visitors. While some praise its friendly atmosphere and delicious Australian-inspired breakfast options, others express disappointment over service inconsistencies and perceived high prices. Many guests applaud the quality of the coffee, which many believe is a cut above typical London offerings. Although some patrons noted a lack of warmth from staff, many agree that the café has a welcoming local vibe, making it a favorite for brunch enthusiasts. Overall, the café promises a unique dining experience, worth a visit for those exploring the area.

For now I should be aware, that the Londoners do not know how to make a good coffee, but this place gives the theory flick. Well a little, since I think this place is managed by the Australians. Coffee is good here and breakfast options are quite delicious! I've eaten here a few times! A good place to meet friends. Try QPR pies.

I went to Hummingbird (at least) once a week, then we moved to the area. Since then, when I return is a disappointment, unfortunately. The slow and boring staff, acting in an arrogant super and basic hospitality needs are losing.

I've been going to the Hummingbird for at least one day a weekend in a few months. The staff is very friendly and not feeling too fruitful. The food is very good, I love the soup of the day, always beautiful. I was never a huge coffee drinker before, but the coffee is really excellent, and now I'm hooked. Food is a bit expensive, but not really getting quality ingredients (they also have deli along the road too). On any Saturday or Sunday you will see me sitting in the seat window... repping.

After surveying the streets of London in Shepherd Bush Metro Station, we found the so wanted hummingbird café. True to the reviews on TripAdvisor, this small restaurant in the atmosphere of New Orleans serves us freshly cooked products. In a warm welcome, with attentive staff we left repu and very satisfied with our first brunch. A perfect value for money. It's worth the detour!

I have passed the coffee on a number of occasions and admired the outside as inside. On this occasion we get into, neither smiles, nor hello, nor how can I help you from the staff behind the counter. I asked the girl behind the counter the teas they had and they said, 'it's on the board. The coffee was not full at all, just a sitting customer and another group waiting to be served. As we sat down with another group of women that I would describe as Notting Hill type configured arrived and received us with, Hello ladies, how can I help? and when they left, 'Good women bye'. As my daughter and I were, nothing or a pio!
