I came for a takeaway and ordered a large mixed shish. The large container had rice but you can have a mixture of rice and bulgur wheat, or chips. 10 huge pieces of chicken and lamb, separate container of salad plenty onions, red cabbage, lettuce ,with a wedge of lemon, one pot of a spicy sauce and one pot of the Turkish equivalent of the Greek tzatziki and 2 huge pieces of bread. all for £12.50 I have also came and... The title speaks for itself. I imagine this restaurant stays in business because of intoxicated customers after taking the tube, but the kebab is absolutely terrible. The meat is the fattiest, greasiest, and most inedible I have ever tasted. It ruined everything else in the kebab. And to top it off, it costs £11. This is the biggest scam I have ever encountered. I stumbled upon this restaurant unexpectedly and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food they served. It was not only reasonably priced but also of incredible quality, with generous portions and a friendly staff. As a vegetarian, I had a wide variety of options to choose from, and my wife, who eats meat, also had plenty of choices. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area.
We came out of Hammersmith tube and wanted a reasonably quick bite to eat. Saw the window with so much tasty, colourful, fresh looking food we went in. Had the most delicious feta in pastry, stuffed vine leaves and incredibly tasty fresh salad. What a gem. Served by attentive but not imposing staff and in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The food was delicious, the service was excellent, but the tables could be bigger to accommodate all the food. We had a wonderful evening with friends and appreciated that we weren't rushed. We will definitely return.
Looked very basic restaurant with formica tables and bright lighting, but when the food is this good, none of that matters, shared a sucuk for starter, glad we did, there was plenty of it, and several complementary dips and sides, had a kleftiko and a chicken kebab for mains, all stunning flavours and plenty of it, the Turkish red wine was really good, complemented the food really well, complementary coffee and baklava to finish, the waitress was great, busy, but had time to come and check on us a couple of times, and all for under 50 quid, a bargain, can't wait to go back, and we live about 100 miles away
