First visit there... and worth repeating. Delicious sweet house appetizer. The pumpkin soup beforehand was a tasty starter. The chicken drumsticks are literally to die for. We both had the fried eel in cream sauce. It was a real feast (we had something to celebrate). A generous portion, neatly served in a sealed jar. We were able to omit salt and pepper because it was perfectly seasoned. Staff as well as chef/patron:... View all feedback.
What Foubert Dirk doesn't like about De Nieuwe Kreek:
Eel in green €34...lots of sauce and 7 pieces of eel , possibly enough reason not to go back. It was tasty, but if you ask for fries to eat the sauce with... that's a shame Is that also because of the war in Ukraine? Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.

We sat on the terrace with the beautiful weather. Quiet, atmospheric, very attentive service. Food was great. Our group ordered 3 types of eel, and all 3 are recommended. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
Eating in the Nieuwe Kreek for the first time, it was a very pleasant experience. Very friendly waiter, had an aperitif outside, in a lovely spring sun, very nice, pleasant garden. Then eat inside the restaurant. Very nice, fresh setting. Most importantly the food was very tasty. Highly recommended. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €50–60
