Health Safety warning!!! This Restaurant poisoned me!!! MUST READ THIS! I visited this restaurant a few times during my stay in Tunisia. 1st time I visited the fish was great and 5* experience 2nd time the owner (Monsef was present, and this time quality was poor and very expensive! I made it known I was not happy – the next day I was walking past the restaurant, the staff asked me to come in and gave me wine and food and was justifying the cost attempting to make me leave on good terms. I stupidly shook hands and left on good terms. 3rd time was supposed to be my last evening as flight booked 4pm the next day. This time the fish was covered in a sauce. After this meal the next day I had stomach upset. First problem in 2x weeks in Tunisia. Next day my flight was cancelled, I had another 2x days in Tunisia! I stupidly thought my upset stomach was just to be expected as I read that many tourists suffer a bit of stomach upset. 4th time: this really was my last evening, and as my stomach problem was almost gone, I again stupidly went back trying to repeat the quality of my first visit. [important: He knew I had a 4am pick up to the airport] I specifically told the waiter I do not want the fish covered in the sauce. And this time it was covered in herbs. And poor quality and expensive again! At 1am I woke with excruciating stomach pains, I stated violent vomiting and diarrhoea! But I had to make it to the airport and be on that plane. I was picked up from hotel and I was vomiting all the way to the airport. By the time I got on the plane I was ‘empty’. I flew back to UK in agony not daring to drink or eat anything. When I made it back to my hometown in UK I visited the doctor who assessed and prescribed me ‘antibiotics’!! (antibiotics are not prescribed in UK unless absolutely necessary! I was seriously ill. It is obvious that the owner has absolutely no regard or respect for another human being’s well-being. This was a pre-meditated serving of fish that he knew is seriously unfit for human consumption! Remember he knew I was leaving at 4am! What a bast@rd!! This Monsef (owner is a disgrace to Tunisia – and now instead of telling everyone at home what a great place Tunisia is, I am telling people how I got seriously poisoned there. I hope the extra Dinar’s Monsef made from me serving me dangerously ‘off’ fish will be of value in HELL! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

This isnt Cajun. Its Tunisian! A great host Moncef and staff do their best to make you welcome and enjoy your meal, drinks and entertainment. Cold bottled Celtia beer and fine Tunisian wines. They have Becks also. Its right in front of my house, so handy. Yoi can choose drinks only with maybe a light meal like Chicken wings or Specials of the day and great lunchtme menu at set price. Full a la Carte available too. Live music later in evening. Tunisian songs from organist and often dancing. Can get full on weekends and lively. Give it a try. I love sitting outside on the small decked area for a relaxing drink at the end of the day. Service: Dine in

Don't stop at the location and the scenery a little old because you would pass next to a very correct restaurant. Well presented, copier, well-stocked and good. We took a grill, it was really great.
